Family law and Landlord-tenant law.
Mr. Odani attended the University of California in Riverside from
1994 to 1998, receiving his B.A. in Ethnic Studies. He then proceeded
to the McGeorge School of Law, earning his J.D. in 2001.
Mr. Odani was born in Torrance, California on January 10, 1976
to hard-working parents who valued higher education, but were unable
to pursue it themselves. He credits them for instilling diligence,
conscientiousness, a good sense of responsibility, and the ability
to self-motivate and work hard. He is a yonsei (fourth generation)
Japanese-American.
After observing how hard-working people, such as
his parents, can be overwhelmed and intimidated by the legal
process, Mr. Odani
was driven to practice law as a way to better himself and his family.
Mr. Odani counts as his most important influences, “…my
grandfather (father’s father), who always supported my drive
to become an attorney. Secondly, I would name my parents as major
influences, who have worked hard all of their lives for what appears
to mostly have been for the benefit of their children. Thirdly,
my karate sensei has had a great impact on me, he is a mentor in
the truest sense. And lastly, but perhaps most importantly, my
wife, Jenee, provides invaluable moral support and encouragement.”
When asked what part of his career most satisfies
him, Mr. Odani states, “The most rewarding aspect of my
career is helping to reduce fraud and overreaching in the insurance
industry as this
appeals to my sense of justice and drive to the right thing.”
Mr. Odani is a member of the State Bar of California. Some of
his clients include, Simon Property Group, Office Max, Robert Moreno
Insurance, and Crawford and Company.
He is married to a veterinarian and has no children, but a house
full of various animals. In his spare time, he practices martial
arts, including karate and judo.
Mr. Odani’s strength, commitment and diligence are reflected
in his personal words to live by, “Go hard or go home.
