Ms. Cahir attended the University of Minnesota Morris, where she graduated cum laude with majors in English/Health/PE and attended Western State University College of Law on a full academic scholarship, where she received American Jurisprudence awards in both Contracts and Professional Responsibility.
Ms. Cahir served as an associate editor of law review; had her law review article published; was a member of both her local and state Moot Court teams; and, then served as Director of the Moot Court Competition. She also served as assistant to the Legal Analysis and Writing class during law school and later taught Legal Writing and Torts at South Coast College. Ms. Cahir interned at both the Department of Corporations in Los Angeles and the Orange County District Attorney’s Office – Vice Department.
Upon graduation, Ms. Cahir received the ABOTA Fellowship. When she started practicing, she served on the boards of professional organizations – the California Trial Attorneys and Orange County Women Lawyers and private organizations – the California Family Life Center and her church. She is presently a member of the Riverside County Bar Association and the California Lawyers Association. Ms. Cahir has also earned her SHRM – SCP Certification (Society of Human Resources Management – Senior Certified Professional). Ms. Cahir is married with two sons and enjoys sports.
